Using your mix of Physics and Electronics knowledge, you will deliver continuous improvements to the high-tech instruments. You will also be the prime technical interface with the sub-contract manufacturing company (CEM) through the assembly and test stages and then provide ongoing support to customers in the field. Job Role - Project Engineer Vacancy Location - Oxford Salary - £28-45K depending on experience The Project Engineer will work within a multidiscipline team of talented Scientists & Engineers; 3rd party CEM manufacturers and customers throughout the NPD and NPI process. This role gives the opportunity to not only help develop the technology itself, but project manage the entire product life cycle through production and manufacture. To be considered for the role of Project Engineer you need the following: Job Requirements: Education An excellent degree (MSci, MA , BEng/MEng, MPhil, MRes, MChem, MPhys) in Applied Physics, Electronic Engineering, Physical Science, or similar engineering/scientific discipline. Experience Essential Related experience of 3 years or more. Exceptional verbal and written English Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills Knowledge of electronics design -ie able to: Specify circuit requirements for third party designers Design electronics as needed Test & Fault find down to component level.
