We are currently seeking a Legal Counsel We are looking for a dynamic, pro-actively working Legal Counsel with entrepreneurial spirit and proven experience in corporate and contract law. The Legal Counsel will be part of a small legal team. Your Tasks You will support the senior management in implementing the legal structures as well as providing legal advice and support on strategic business initiatives. You will provide a high-quality, pro-active and business-orientated source of legal services in addition to giving advice to management, various departments and our commercial partners. You will assess proposed commercial relationships to ensure all angles are fully understood. This includes participating in the due diligence work as well as structuring, drafting/negotiating and finalizing agreements to ensure all legal relationships are properly defined and recorded. Furthermore you will ensure that contracts comply with the company
- s guidelines and be the first point of contact with all public authorities. Your Profile Qualified person with a law degree (or equivalent foreign qualification) with no less than 5 years practical, post-qualification experience. This should include a track record of involvement with complex and demanding legal transactions in a corporate environment, hereunder M&A. The applicant should possess the ability to understand and assess legal risks and use the appropriate judgment in providing legal guidance to the business on how best to operate in high-risk environments. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate the capacity to approach issues not only from a legal but also from a commercial perspective. Proficiency in written and spoken English and German is mandatory. Further languages are an advantage but not a requirement. Excellent computer literacy and very good knowledge of MS-Office are equally important. The applicant should show an entrepreneurial spirit and an exceptional ability to communicate clearly and convincingly, as well as have an outstanding interpersonal competence level. Additionally, tasks should be carried out with a pragmatic and solution-oriented hands-on approach with the ability to act independently, and the personality to enjoy working in a small team.
