International Engineering Firm is looking for a Field Electrical Engineer to join the European Electrical Department and Euromaintenance, which provides maintenance support to more than 120 operating facilities across Europe, with an asset value of more than $2.5b and a maintenance budget of typically $45-50m. The team of highly skilled electrical field technicians works across Europe, and carries out a variety of electrical field related activities on continuous production plants such as ASU, HYCO etc with electrical equipment as motors, switchgears, transformers etc., and is based in Tarragona. You will supervise and/or perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, modification, installation and commissioning of electrical equipment in European operational facilities; third party facilities; joint ventures and subsidiaries. You will be expected to interface with vendors, contractors and technical departments to help complete tasks to the right standard. You will also be expected to write reports and suggest areas for improvement after carrying out field related tasks. The position requires for availability and travel due to the need to carry out plant shutdown activities and emergency related field work at a variety of locations across Europe. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Fluency in English and Spanish. The Electrical Field Engineer must be familiar with electrical equipment as induction and synchronous motors, protective relays, switchgear, starters, control systems, transformers, generators, and electrical distribution systems, also ability to read electrical control drawings. Able to communicate in English, both spoken and written word, At least 3 to 5 years ofexperience of electrical systems, large induction and synchronous motor drives and electrical distribution systems.
