6 month fixed term contract with the option of going permanent  The Lifeways Group one of the UKs leading providers of support services for people with diverse complex needs currently have an exciting opportunity for an ICT Service Desk Assistant working at our Head Office in Southwark. You as the successful candidate will receive and process calls for End Users by telephone, email and face to face. You will ensure Service Calls are logged accurately and submitted in a timely manner. You will work closely with the ICT Support Team to manage and escalate calls appropriately in relation to End User SLA levels.  This is a great opportunity for someone looking to break into IT. We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and outgoing individual with excellent customer service skills.  ICT Service Desk Assistant – 1 st Line Support Key responsibilities To log End User support calls on a Helpdesk software system To provide 1st line hardware and software support to End Users.  Purchasing ICT equipment and software  Managing ICT assets, ensuring the asset database is up to date and accurate Administrating the organisations mobile phone contracts Creating user accounts and changing End User passwords  Providing administration support for members of the ICT Department  ICT Service Desk Assistant - 1 st Line Support Skills required Solid customer service skills and an excellent telephone manor Clear spoken English and excellent written skills  PC literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft WindowsOffice Ability to work within a team  Education to GCSE level or equivalent  In return for your commitment we are able to offer our ICT Service Desk Assistant – 1 st Line Support: Competitive starting salary of £18,000 per annum  Pension  20 days annual leave Further learning & development opportunities Other Lifeways benefits Lifeways are an equal opportunities employer and are regulated by CQC.
