Aufgabenbereich:

Supply Chain Manager Role Profile Our client, who is a respected and well-established international manufacturer and supplier, has requested our services to source them an exceptionally talented Supply Chain Manager to be based in Surrey. You will oversee the Production Planning, Purchasing & Materials department, Warehouse, & Despatch functions of the operation and its subcontract manufacturing partners. You will be responsible for staff development & mentoring, systems, procedures, and direction to your team. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director. Responsibilities include: Produce clear operations strategy. Create and maintain a weekly and monthly reporting system against targets for all key areas and metrics of operations. Review Supplier performance and improve performance where necessary. Strengthen relationships with good suppliers and find a way to accurately score suppliers, nominate the best three each month and reward them. Manage the manufacturing processes. Set up various manufacturers to liaise with each other to ensure the manufacturing process runs smoothly and ensuring that each product is made using the most appropriate processes and suppliers. Find potential new suppliers, evaluate them and then establish a relationship Eliminate any single sourcing threats by finding alternative suppliers. Price negotiate with suppliers to deliver positive price variances (PPV s) and negotiate selected products for call off. Inventory management including deciding stock levels for all products and ensuring that stock levels are kept to a minimum but critical items are available from stock. Also ensuring stocked items are adjusted to suit buying/industry trends Manage, improve and review existing systems - automated and manual. Implement new systems to increase efficiency. Skills & Experience You will be of graduate calibre and or CIPS qualified with experience of working and communicating at all levels. Your background will be from Supply Chain management and have a strong Supplier Management experience. You will be meticulous in your approach and be a natural leader. You will have knowledge of MRP systems and ideally have worked in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Warehousing & Transport operations is an advantage.
