Job description You support the business field and especially its management as a business partner, by means of analysis, reports, projects, communication & implementation of corrective actions underlined by procedures and efficient processes, to further improve the profitability. Business ControllingMonitoring & advising the business field, including respective business & action plans Regular Variance analysis, and respective actions Customer Profitability analysis Analyzing rates/margins/volumes and profitability and respective trends Controlling operational procedures and areas impacting cost/profitability Deferral control / Gross profit Analysis Business field Reporting Main Issues Reporting Finance ControllingCoordination and analytical support for forecast/target setting Coordination Investment Applications/Capex Support on Due Diligence and Acquisition Projects Processes/Procedures revision & improvementEnforcement of corporate / regional policies and guidelines Secure maintenance and compliance to policies & procedures Seek ways to improve efficiency and to automate processes Communication, Coaching & TrainingManage and follow up of corrective action plans Act as advisor to the business field Transfer knowledge & targets to regional controlling team (incl. training) Your skills and experience University degree in business administration/finance or professional qualification in accounting Knowledge and experience in strategic planning and budgeting processes Proven In-depth knowledge accounting and reporting systems & ideally ACON & Business Objects Minimum 7 years experience in a finance / controlling area of a global company, including experience in a Logistics environment Advanced experience with excel & MS Office Fluent in English, German would be an advantage
