Specialist/chief physician in Radiology. We are looking for a Specialist/chief physician in Radiology who wants to be a part of our clinics. The atmosphere and climate within our teams are great and transparent with a high level of involvement and responsibilities from the employees. The work at the clinics is characterized by broad expertise; the goal is to be at the forefront of diagnostics and caretaking of our patients. We participate also in multidisciplinary conferences. You will work in Linköping or Norrköping. Qualifications: Registered radiologist with diploma as specialist. Your personal qualities are of great importance as well as flexibility and collaborative skills. You organize your work efficiently, maintain your special skills and share your knowledge. Information on the work places: Region Östergötland conducts radiology operations at three locations: Linköping, Norrköping and Motala. Diagnostic imaging is performed at all three clinics, also intervention with traditional x-ray technology as well as ultrasound, MR and PET/DT, according to the latest research and technology. We have recently installed a cyclotron in order to meet the need of functional PET-examinations. In addition to diagnostic imaging we also perform research, education and development. The three clinics have different profiles; the smaller, familiar clinic, staffed with broad and capable competence, is situated in Motala. In Norrköping we have the middle sized clinic where the employees have profiled their competences to a certain extent and in Linköping we’ll find the big clinic where the absolute excellence could be found. Diagnostics and image guided intervention is right now going through an incomparable process with further development of earlier methods and advents of new technics/new methods. Radiology in Östergötland strives towards: •A change from invasive methods to non-invasive, for example through more DT-coronarangiografics and diagnostics of liver diseases without biopsy •Functional and molecular visualization, for example in the shape of PET/CT, 4D DT, 4D MR, MR-perfusion. We have a close cooperation with other clinics which generate a stimulating and varied work.
