Engineering Graduate (Quality) within our Technical Development Programme - for an outstanding world class’ employer Salary £23 -26k (negotiable dependent upon experience) extensive benefits We are now seeking to appoint an ambitious Graduate to join this high profile, world class manufacturer - the position is permanent and will include a two year rotational programme across the wider technical functions within our business. Main Purpose of Position To assist with and understand all Quality Engineering activities related to the business processes used at this site, with the aim of improving performance, and the resolution of customer/supplier issues. Key Responsibilities and Duties To support and take an active part in discussions of points of technical expertise through knowledge of customer specifications, requirements and drawing interpretation. Gain an understanding of what the issue is understand the information from specifications and drawings in relation to the issue Support Quality activities in other departments. Assisting with the selection and use of appropriate quality tools and techniques Assist in problem resolution whilst ensuring high quality responses to customer and supplier issues Assist with the plan and help out with internal audits, reporting and analysing results, assisting with corrective and preventative action. Compiling summary reports on audit activity and its effectiveness Assist with reviews and report on non-conformance data for repeated problems using specialist quality techniques, presentation and analysis tools To represent the Company image as being one of high integrity at all times when representing the Company both internally and externally In addition to the Main Duties and Responsibilities, every employee has the overall responsibility for the environment, health safety Qualifications, skills, experience required: Graduate with a 2:1, 1st or Masters in Mechanical, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering (or similar) Happy to commit to a permanent role within an initial two year Technical Development Programme Basic understanding of quality standards, Quality Management Systems and documentation desirable Ability to work to within a team, and a structured approach to problem solving and continual improvement Previous experience in a similar role within an engineering environment desirable but not essential i.e. internship or similar Good analytical, mechanical, communication skills Confident in using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) About The Benefits: Basic annual starting salary of £23-26k (negotiable in the case of 12 months experience), 30 days leave (includes Bank statutory holidays), pension (employee and employer contributions) and stock purchase plan.
