Graduate Building Surveying job, in Lincoln, APC opportunity up to £23k Your new company A well-known UK Consultancy, who due to a new merger and winning a range of new work are looking to increase their team by appointing an Assistant Building Surveyor in their Lincoln office. They work with local authorities and other public bodies, such as the police and fire and rescue services. The Property Services team provides strategic and operational asset management, master planning, design, estates and facilities management for a substantial property portfolio up and down the country. This includes operational property, non operational (investment) property, regeneration and redevelopment sites; including some 5,000 buildings, 12,000 homes and over 3,000 schools. They are involved in some of the UK''s most significant infrastructure projects. Your new role As an Assistant Building Surveyor based in Lincoln, you will assist the lead building surveyors and support the delivery of building surveying commissions and projects. You will be required to financially monitor projects, identify potential fee changes and produce final accounts for clients. You will also support the successful delivery of projects, and ensure that quality, time, financial and client satisfaction expectations are met. What you''ll need to succeed Your previous experience in this field will lead to your success. You will also ideally be degree qualified and hold a student membership with RICS. You must have the ability to plan, organise and control your workload, communicate confidently and be commercially aware. The successful candidate will also be able to produce building specifications and have strong technical skills.
