As Tutor, you will provide and promote a quality learning service to access the curriculum and develop capacity to succeed in life. You ll develop and deliver a range of qualifications whilst assessing and verifying against the recognised national standards Package description £28,000-£29,000 plus benefits including pension, group discounts etc Main responsibilities * Deliver programmes of learning to prisoners, in preparation for the assessment process * Create and develop lesson plans and learning materials / methods to meet the needs of learners * Carry out internal quality assurance / internal verification to meet the required standards of relevant awarding bodies * Provide professional support and guidance to colleagues as required * Support colleagues in the delivery of the curriculum to meet the standards of awarding bodies * Monitor and maintain learning resources to ensure effective teaching takes place * Provide advice and guidance to ensure appropriate placement on courses dependent on current skills Ideal candidate * Qualified  to SCQF level 9 in a teaching / training discipline * Experience of teaching at a range of levels * Experience of sound classroom management skills and an ability to engage learners * Experience of overseeing the development of curriculum design to meet a variety of needs * Experience of carrying out quality assurance to meet national awarding body standards About the company Sodexo UK & Ireland employs around 36,000 people and delivers On-site Service Solutions to clients at over 2,300 locations including offices, hospitals, schools, defence sites, prisons, sporting events and visitor attractions.  Sodexo is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
