At its core are work preparation training, English and Maths for those who need it, and a high quality work experience placement. Traineeships help unlock your great potential and give you the work preparation training, Maths and English and work experience needed to get an Apprenticeship or other job. This Traineeships Opportunity is unwaged.   To provide the highest level of customer service at all times, IT systems and general duties •To ensure all equipment is operational and to be able to deliver first fix and have excellent IT/Problem solving skills •Responsible for the processing of passengers / staff •Responsible for all the equipment and serviceability (Bag Machine/Fast Track/Boarding Cards) •In liaison with the Team Leaders and / or Duty Manager identify any issues  and take reasonable steps to cover Ensure minimum impact to the operation. •Maintain accurate records of any equipment failures •Stock control of all plastic bags / fast track tickets •Working as an Agent when required (subject to L1 aviation training completion and CTC clearance) •Dealing with Customer Complaints first hand to ensure no further action •First fix on FastTrack and Bag machines •First fix on boarding card gates and IT systems •Responsible for the X-Ray allocation role. •Knowledge of the hand luggage allowances and the ability to disseminate the Information clearly and effectively to our customers. At its core are work preparation training, English and Maths for those who need it, and a high quality work experience placement.   HOURS OF WORK Days in training centre 4 days per week 9.30 -3.45.  Sessions include support with maths and English for those who did not achieve a C grade GCSE , work skills including CV writing, careers advice and guidance, job search and  matching to  apprenticeships and employment opportunities In Liverpool John Lennon Airport you will be working 5 days per work on placement for 7 hours per day.   SECURITY CHECKS PRIOR TO PLACEMENT • A basic criminal record check – funded and processed by LJLA  • A copy of photographic ID • Proof of address (usually a letter) – no older than 3 months old. 5 year reference history (education or employment) with no gaps longer than 28 days.
