NÁPLŇ PRÁCE:

Randstad Student Support are recruiting Disability Support Workers/ Manual Notetakers to work with Students at Keele University! We are looking for people to provide 1 to 1 support to students with disabilities in their Higher Education studies. The role is set to start in September 2015. The main purpose of the Notetaker role is to support students who require physical notes to be taken on their behalf, for example because they have a physical impairment, health condition or dyslexia. You will be required to attend university lectures to take notes so you must have excellent spelling, neat handwriting and be able to present your notes in a legible and presentable manner. You will need to be able to work quickly and under pressure, but maintain high quality notes, process information and articulate it clearly in written form. Experience of taking notes is essential. Work is part time and flexible (generally during term-time) depending on your own availability and the requirements of the students & university disability service. You will earn from A£8.18 per hour and have access to excellent benefits such as holiday pay and pension scheme. There are no set or guaranteed hours so the role suits someone who is looking for flexibility in their role. We will be holding an assessment and registration session on Wednesday 12th August for successfully shortlisted candidates. Duties and Responsibilities: Produce accurate and legible handwritten record of the content of lectures, seminars, discussions etc in the students preferred format.
