THE OPPORTUNITY: To join a fantastic head office location in Leicester as an Operations Manager THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: To ensure the delivery of the divisional revenue budgets and ultimately the divisional profit budget, all to be achieved within the allocated cost centre budget provision. Key Responsibilities: Works with the relevant Managers to develop divisional strategies with quarterly objectives and actions To measure and analyse data to identify and report against performance Ensures teams have a deep understanding of the business objectives Ensures the effective flow of understanding and productivity from account management to retail conversion To act as a role model and ensure the development of team members both personally and professionally To maintain effective relationships with our current insurance partners To work closely and strategically with the Account Management team Manages and develops account management approach to secure maximum flow of claims Leads the business planning and tactical elements of our insurance claims validation and assessment department To continually improve operations, models and implement solutions that support the divisions unique offering and attractiveness to the insurance market Maintains a robust understanding of the divisional expenditure against budget Provides reports on performance EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: Qualified to degree level Proven track record in successfully delivering commercial budgets and strategies Demonstrable experience of identifying business issues and delivering interventions and solutions to meet business needs Successful experience of managing and developing people towards high performance Knowledge of the insurance and/or retail market Experience of developing business strategy and procedures Experience of compiling Management information reports Proven ability to communicate with and influence managers to develop credible working relationships Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Strong project management skills to deliver ad hoc projects Analytical skills Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload Excellent accuracy and attention to detail Ability to challenge constructively, manage conflict and diffuse complex situations Ability to work in a fast paced high-volume environment Ability to think ahead and anticipate future challenges and opportunities, with a strong commercial awareness Able to travel to other office locations as and when needed Flexible can do attitude, both with regard to scope of activities undertaken and hours NB: As a result of the volume of applications we may be unable to respond with individual feedback.
