As a teacher of Creative media in the explorer pathway you will be working predominantly with entry level 3 and level 1 learners on creative media courses and projects. You will create an appropriate and stimulating learning environment develop teaching methods, materials, lesson plans and ILPs. You will monitor and assess students’ progress and ensure that students are able to access the curriculum effectively. To apply, you should have subject related successful teaching experience within Further Education and experience of supporting individual learners across a wide range of levels and with a range of learning, physical and sensory disabilities. You need to have a relevant teaching qualification or be working towards, a degree in a relevant subject and GCSE’s or equivalent at Grade C or above in Maths and English. You’ll need to be a team worker, with excellent communication, organisational and planning skills. You will also need to have Computer skills with the ability to use technology to enrich teaching, learning and assessment.
