Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master | FinTech Client | London | 58-62k + package My client is a very awesome FinTech business with some very big plans for 2016 and beyond. They have been in the market for a number of years, but have spent the past few years really honing their SaaS payment platform to create a super slick product which means they are leaps and bounds ahead of their direct competitors. Due to this continued success, these guys have an exciting and aggressive growth plan for 2016 within their engineering team and are now on the lookout for a Senior Technical PM / Scrum Master who has analysis / product skills thrown in to join the team and take responsibility of the overall delivery of current and future products (amongst other things!) This PM / Scrum Master will help to manage the current team of 10 - which will be double in size by Q4 - and help to deliver the vision alongside the CTO. Working with the CTO and Product Director, this role will also take responsibility for managing requirements and managing customer requests, working closely with the Sales team. You will also play the part of ?Captain America` and SHEILD the engineering team from all the outside nonsense, making sure that their innovative environment is kept just as! Responsibilities: Manage dev team within a highly collaborative, Agile environment Requirements gathering Facilitating Scrum team and removing impediments Planning and running sprints Work with dev teams as well as wider teams to ensure projects are on target and progress is communicated across teams Client facing; working with consumers and merchants on a regular bases Manage requirements - working with dev teams to figure out what is possible on the platform Work closely with the CTO and Product Director to deliver growth initiatives Create and maintain a highly collaborative environment, ensuring innovation! Work with the Product Director on new product features and monetization YOU: Are Smart. And Bright. And have a good attitude with a passion for CHALLENGING the norm Come from a technical background - ideally with a Computer Science (or related) degree Are savvy. And can solve difficult technical problems with diplomacy and technical know-how Are able to chat to engineers and customers with ease, utilising necessary personas to do so! Are experienced in delivering large, complex software development projects within various environments e.g. start-ups vs blue-chip Understand code. Hands on not necessary, however you need to understand what can and can`t be done, what are good and bad ideas (within tech) and know exactly what technology can and can`t do. Can lead teams and create collaborative working environments Ideally will have a Scrum / Agile / Product certification LOVE technology and are passionate about it; Understand or have worked with PHP Knowledge of Linux is super beneficial Experienced in NO-SQL (ideally) Ideally you still dabble in technology and love to create cloud applications (AWS, Azure etc) LOVE what technology can do and love to push the boundaries in what you and your team can create This is a fantastic opportunity to join a profitable business at the beginning of a new and exciting journey.
