The Radiology Department at York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust employs a multi-disciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical staff to provide high quality, customer-focussed and user-friendly diagnostic Radiology service to patients and service users who use our facilities. We are a forward thinking department committed to advanced practice. Radiographers currently undertake many extended roles within the department. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and well motivated individuals who are suitably qualified and registered with the HCPC. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be required to work flexibly in the main department and may rotate through the CT department depending on CT experience or following a period of training. You will be expected to participate in the General out of hours rota and/or the impending introduction of a CT shift system. The salary scale is dependant upon relevant transferable knowledge and skills The offer of this post is subject to enhanced criminal record disclosure. Must have degree in Radiography. 2. Must be HCPC Registered. 3. Must have relevant prescribed clinical experience leading to qualification. 4. Evidence of continuous professional development desirable. 5. Must have excellent communication skills, be calm under pressure and exhibit a caring attitude. 6. CT experience not essential. References must include at least two positions with separate employers and, as a minimum, cover a period of three years employment and/or training history, where this is possible.
