The post holder will be first point of contact so needs to ensure that all visitors register and are directed to their meetings in an efficient and polite and timely manner Deal with incoming telephone calls, provide general advice to non-clinical, public and clients ensure that external mail is sorted and directed as necessary Must have experience of using Oracle. Book meeting rooms and appropriate IT equipment. Maintain database as and when necessary Provide a high quaility typing and word processing service develop and maintain filing system. To be flexaible as cover may be needed at other locations so must have the ability to travel independently Knowledge and Qualifications Needed Good standard of general education Demonstrable level of typewriting and word processing to a high standard of speed and accuracy Working knowledge of MS Office suite including Power Point. Knowledge of reception and administrative duties with the ability to multi task and to work with minimum supervision Excellent communication skills particularly oral You will be able to effectively manage a demanding workload with the ability to respond to whatever demands you face with tact, discretion and diplomacy.
