JOB DESCRIPTION:
The “Progresso” association We are a team of pedagogues, teachers, psychologists and therapists of several different nationalities, who have met regularly since the summer of 2004 to exchange information and experiences about the quality of care offered by youth welfare projects in Portugal. This regular exchange of experiences between staff members involved in intensive pedagogical projects in Germany and the Netherlands, and individual pedagogical programs in Portugal, led to the creation of a team and a care concept that meets German and Dutch quality standards and that do not suffer from any of the shortcomings of previous care programs. In July 2006 this team founded a non-profit Portuguese association called "Progresso", with the aim of caring, within Portugal, for children and young people with behavioral problems. These youth welfare programs are carried out in cooperation with German and Dutch youth welfare organizations. JOB REQUIREMENTS: excelent communication skills, organizational skills, iniciative and autonomus working, attention to detail,enthusiasm and personal drive, flexibility, reliable, empathy, decisiveness, analytical and problem solving skills.
