JOB DESCRIPTION:
Location: Low Fell, Gateshead moving to Team Valley in November 2015 Contracts are based on a working week of between 24-32 hours per week. Our client can offer flexible working hours. We have immediate positions to join one of the North East largest Taxi Companies. As a result of growth we have 3 immediate positions for Call Handlers/Customer Service Advisors. The position for the Call Handler/Customer Service Advisor is available immediately. Pay rate is £.6.50 per hour during Training/Probation period, moving up to £7.35 an hour- Monday-Friday and £8.25 per hour for weekends. The successful candidate will be working in a modern Contact Centre Environment and will be taking high volume calls from Customers that wish to book a Taxi. Our client uses a very simple computerised booking system. The Call Handler will be taking basic details, addresses, telephone numbers with any special instructions, e.g. Wheel Chair Access etc. and confirming details of the bookings. The Call Handler will be working alongside a team of 10 other Call Handlers. The Contact Centre is operational 24 hours a day 7 days per week with peek calls of a weekend. Contracts are between 24-32 hours per week and our client is very flexible towards accommodating different hours of work. Typical Rotas include: 0600-1400, 0800-1600, 0800-1800, 14.00-2200, 1500-0.00, 1600-0100 Experience and Skills Required for the Customer Service Advisor/Call Handler - Previous Experience of working within a Contact Centre/Customer Service Unit is essential - Previous Experience of taking high volume calls is also required - Excellent Listening and Accurate Key Board Skills - Flexible to cover a 24 hour shift Pattern including weekends - A good geographical knowledge of the North East would be an advantage The positions are available immediate.
