As a Support Worker, you will help people who require support with aspects of daily life. You could work with people with physical or learning disabilities, older people and their families. You will be a key member of our operational team, responsible for providing an outstanding service and high quality care and support to people in Pontypool, Torfaen. Duties: * To provide personal care and domestic/practical tasks for people within their own homes. * To put people s lifestyle and choices at the heart of the way you deliver care. * To provide assistance taking medication or other health related tasks. * To listen, encourage and motivate people to achieve whatever they wish and offer emotional support when required. * To work in partnership with your colleagues and other professionals to support everyone individually. * To carry out all tasks in such a way that maintains people s dignity and independence. * To be accountable for the quality of care and support you provide.
