JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit for an HR Officer for a global company in the Epsom area. The main function of the role is to provide a high quality and professional HR support service and administration function to different regional locations. This role does require some travel abroad which may require an overnight stay, possibly longer. Duties will include: Build and maintain good working relationships with all Regional HR customers Manage the HR Officer, ensuring that adequate coaching and guidance is provided Support new country development by setting up new locations including contracts of employment, benefit structures, recruitment etc. Support the CEOs with international recruitment including participation in interviews, providing guidance where necessary Management of Executive appraisal and remuneration processes providing recommendations where required, ensuring all documents are completed accurately Develop and maintain Regional policies and procedures ensuring best practice and compliance is adhered to Manage the annual salary review and bonus payment process Day to day operational HR and Training support, including payroll Management of the European Employee Satisfaction Survey Maintain an awareness of developments in the relevant fields to ensure that the company continues to take advantage of the latest thinking in these areas Assisting with ad-hoc projects as delegated by the GM - HR and Training and HR and Training Officer Personal specification: Essential: Good standard of education CIPD HR qualification (level 5) Working in a busy HR environment Working with different cultures Working accurately to tight deadlines is a key requisite for the role Experience of working with all levels including executives Recruitment at a high level, competency based interviews Involvement in appraisal management Salary and bonus reviews Policy creation and development Desirable: CIPD Chartered Member Team management Working with an organisation and individuals outside of the UK HR exposure in countries in addition to UK Global mobility New country development Ability to speak other languages, (in addition to English) Having used CipHR HR System Psychometric test administration and interpretation Assessment Centres for recruitment Management of employee engagement surveys Project management IT awareness - ability to use the following applications effectively : Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Excel Advanced and PowerPoint) Visio, Web conferencing, video conferencing an advantage Ciphr knowledge an advantage HR and Training systems knowledge is an advantage This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/JobSeeking/HR-Advisor_job63243546
