Job Purpose: To support manufacturing with mechanical maintenance expertise, to repair and maintain power presses, cranes, conveyor network, baler systems and ancillary equipment. Principle Accountabilities: EURAwareness of Health and Safety in the workplace EURCommunicate with Shift Supervisors to determine priority / urgency of a required repair EURDetermine whether spares are required EUREstimate time required EURFeedback to Shift Supervisors EURComplete relevant paperwork e.g. Job Cards EURPrepare for future jobs EURTo carry out any other duties, including overtime, relevant to the post which may arise thus ensuring a comprehensive and flexible service to the business and the department.
