JOB DESCRIPTION:

Senior Carer : Part:Time : 20hrs : GBP9.50 : GBP10.20 per hour : Community based in Biggar, South Lanarkshire : 2 Year fixed Contract Our client, a high quality care provider for elderly care and support at home are expanding and are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Carer to join their happy team based in Biggar. You will need to be a car owner/driver, have obtained as a minimum an SVQ 3 or working towards this and have experience of working at a senior level within the community leading a team of care staff. Our client is looking for excellent communication skills, a positive and enthusiastic approach along with good IT skills, strong leadership skills and excellent knowledge of the Biggar area and who already has good relationships with care managers and NHS services as you will be required to develop new business and take on new service users. Experience with conducting staff supervisions, team meetings, staff rotas, on call duties (on a rota basis), monitoring staff for quality of service and ensuring your staff are well supported and valued. You will also deliver care liaise with families, GP services, care managers and colleagues. This is a brand new job role and is 20 hours weekly with some weekend working so flexible working will be required.
