Service Delivery Manager (PRINCE II / PMBOK / ITIL / TUPE) You will be based in the company’s Guildford office, working on projects as a key member of the project management team supporting the project or programme manager with the introduction, transition or transformation of services. These may include Business Process Operations, IT Service, Hosting and Application Management. Responsibilities: Service Transition Planning and Scheduling, Customer Stakeholder / Service Provider Stakeholder Liaison and Management, Managing Service Design Implementation Resourcing: Responsibilities include commitment of appropriate resources to perform the transition and operate the service, Management of transition project risks, issues and dependencies, Finance and Commercial Management: Responsible for managing transition project budgetary control and setting up the financials and commercials for service operations, Process and Work Instruction Production: Responsible for the creation of processes and work instructions in accordance with the service design, Management of Technical Integration: Ensuring the technical delivery supports the needs of the client and service operations, Communications and Knowledge Transfer: Managing and delivering communications and knowledge transfer to the appropriate stakeholders. Managing change within an ITIL aligned environment Change Management: Setting up or working with service change management to assure and manage changes to operations throughout and as a result of service transition, Configuration Management: Setting up or working with service configuration management to ensure service configuration is updated and handed over, Management and coordination of service validation & testing activities: Essential requirements: You will have at least 5 years working with managed services, At least 3 years’ experience in the transition of products, Business Process operations and/or IT Service Management into live operations, You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the ITIL v3 service lifecycle and how service transition fits into it, You can demonstrate a working knowledge of service design principles You will have strong organisational skills and a proven Project Management track record in IT system delivery, You will have highly developed planning skills using MS Project You should be comfortable and confident working in a customer-facing environment.
