JOB DESCRIPTION:

Year One Teacher Yardley - South Birmingham September 2015 - July 2016 Daily Rate - £100 - £160 per day A happy and successful school in Yardley are looking for a committed and caring Year 1 teacher to be part of their team from September 2015. The one form entry school admits 30 pupils per year from Nursery through to Year 6. The school understand that basic Literacy and Numeracy skills are paramount in the children s education; nonetheless the school pride themselves on the creative learning environment and creative opportunities they provide for all pupils. The school encourage the understanding of life beyond the classroom by experiencing many cultural sites within the area such as local Museums, Art Galleries, farm visits and Nature Reserves. To make learning fun and engaging for the children, each classroom has the most up to date technology with interactive whiteboards and computers in every classroom. The Senior Leadership Team will provide continued support for all teaching and support staff throughout your time in the school. CPD is offered free of charge on a monthly basis to every class teacher and teaching assistant.
