Centrally placed in Tillicoutry with easy road links to both Edinburgh and Glasgow we are looking for an experiencedAccountant to join our successful practice.Working on a diverse client base, you will provide a fully comprehensive accounting service to a portfolio of clients including:Accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole Traders, and PartnershipsReviewing the work of more junior members of the teamLiaising directly with clientsTax computationsAssisting in the planning and management of the workflowExciting ad-hoc duties including budgeting & forecasting and due diligenceThe ideal candidate will have an analytical and detailed approach to reviewing all aspects of year end accounts. You will have at least 4-5 years accounting experience, other required key skills and experiences include:A good working knowledge of accounting practices and disclosure requirements.Have sound experience in producing accounts in a practice environment.Have extensive knowledge of all aspects of accountancy for the SME sector, predominately owner-managed businesses.Working knowledge of taxWorking knowledge of VATGood working knowledge of accounting & taxation software, Excel & Word.
